Styling Your Home Bar

Posted on Tuesday, August 14th, 2012

I love a beautiful bottle. I want a liquor to taste good, and to look good. There are so many excellent choices of spirts available these days. I’ll admit the packaging sometimes influences my decision. Occasionally, I’ll add something to my home bar that is going to the back row behind all the good lookers. Or if it is something I am going to use frequently, I’ll pour it into a handsome decanter.

And why stop there, when you can create a little vignette, and make a styling statement. I’ve had this upside-down pulley and silver dish combo since my Salvage Studio days. Then it was my banner picture on my former blog – Beth Evans-Ramos, Living a Greener Life. It is one of my favorite repurposed finds. These days it lives on our sideboard, holding a decanter of whiskey and small glasses. Rocking a silver and crystal meets industrial vibe, and being functional at the same time.
