My Prop Closet for Entertaining

I am a former hoarder. I am still constantly tempted to save things that I might need one day. I also see the potential to create something wonderful out of things that others find not so wonderful. Now I like living with less stuff, but as you can see by this picture, I still have plenty. Fortunately, I like to organize and keep things tidy.

So what this has to do with the world of cocktails is presenting them in a lovely fashion, and how cocktails are intertwined with entertaining. I recently declared this alcove my prop closet for entertaining. I emptied everything out, re-evaluated what was important to me, and what I wanted to use the most when we entertain. Now all the vases are together, the pitchers are in one spot, and items got grouped in color families.
