Cocktail Garden Future Additions

It’s that wonderful time of the gardening year, when all things seem possible. Packages of seeds are like little bags of hope. I’m planting some old favorites, and am very excited to be adding some new additions to our cocktail garden, thanks to the Drunken Botanist Plant Collection through Territorial Seed Company.

Cocktail Garden Future Additions

Amy Stewart, author of The Drunken Botanist (already on the New York Times bestseller list!), hooked me up with Territorial Seed Company. One day, this generous assortment showed up in my mailbox.

Redventure Celery – it’s really red, Mexican Sour Gherkin Cucumbers – like itty bitty watermelons, Golden Alexandria alpine strawberries, and Golden Jubilee anise hyssop are planted and currently enjoying the good life in a friend’s greenhouse. Other seeds ¬†recently went into our stock tanks raised beds. Now the hard part for me begins – being patient and waiting for all that garden goodness to grow.

What a fabulous idea! Luckily we start our gardening late up north so we have time to start our cocktail garden this weekend.
    Thank you!

I’d love to hear what you plant in your cocktail garden, and what your favorite plants are for cocktails. We’ve been traveling most of the last month. But now the suitcases are back in the closet for a bit, and I’m ready to live out in the garden as much as possible through the summer.
