Rum Raisin Ice Cream

I still can’t believe how easy this ice cream dessert was to make. And how especially tasty it was to devour. I soaked some raisins in spiced rum, Mama’s Little Helper, to be exact, a few hours before serving time. When you are covering the raisins with the spiced rum, don’t be skimpy with the rum. Use whatever rum you enjoy drinking. When it came time for dessert, I served the raisins in a small glass pitcher with a spoon. Scoop everyone some nice vanilla ice cream, and pass the pitcher of rum-soaked raisins. Everyone can heap on as much as they want, and pour on a little of the soaking rum for some extra wallop.
